                Rapunzel is a German Fairytale. The short story which is written by Brothers Grimm, first published in 1812. This story has a lots of version, but still keep the main plot. The diction of Rapunzel is appropriate for all ages, especially for children.

                This story tells about the struggle of love. Rapunzel is a missing princess. She is an extraordinary princess with a power in her hair to make life longer. When Rapunzel was a baby, Dame Gothel kidnapped her because she wanted to take the power. As time goes by, Rapunzel become a teenager and her hair has grown to length of 70-feet. She spend all the day just stay at the tower. She is curious of the outside world. One day, there is a prince lost in the forest and scales the tower. Rapunzel is taking him as a captive. Then, Rapunzel and the prince make a deal. The charming prince become a guide to travel to the place where the floating lights come from that she has seen every year on her birthday. They get a lots of difficulties on the way to the palace. At the end of the story, Rapunzel realizes that Dame Gothel is the wickest person behind all of the problems.

                Rapunzel has four main characters. It consists of the King and Queen as the parents of Rapunzel; the missing princess, Rapunzel; the prince; and the enchantress, Dame Gothel. Rapunzel’s parents are waiting for their daughter patiently, hoping that Rapunzel will be back someday later. Rapunzel is an extraordinary princess, beautiful and brave. She faces all the obstacles without any fears. In the other side,the rude mother, Dame Gothel does everything, through sneaky tricks to take the healing power of Rapunzel’s golden hair. When Dame Gothel almost get what she wants, the heroic prince saves Rapunzel. He loves Rapunzel sincerely.

                                The storyline or plot of Rapunzel has been used and parodied in various media. Its best known line is Rapunzel, Rapunzel, Let down your hair. The characters itself also make people know that Rapunzel relate with the beautiful long-haired princess, the handsome prince, and the enchantress.

                This fairy tale lives around monarchy absolute when people believe in what their king says. Their traditional life also make they trust to magical power. Brothers Grimm builds this short story with an exciting imagination, magnificient journey, and incredibly story. Not only the plot but also setting of the story such as the castle, the woods around the tower, and the river where Rapunzel saw the lights  makes all ages and gender can enjoy to read the story.

                Now, Rapunzel has been created in cartoon movie version. This movie is more exciting than the short story version. Its story has been changed with supporting characteristics like Pascal, and Maximus, the friends of Rapunzel and the prince. This story gives us an experience that we must fight in any difficulties honestly.

tapi tak munafik, aku bercermin kepada semua yang terlihat lebih indah

ku coba mengaplikasikannya di kehidupanku

lantas apa yang terjadi ? sedikit percekcokan

aku megucap bismillah semoga mimpi2ku jadi nyata

sempat aku terjebak dalam dosa yang seharusnya tak terjadi, God...is that ur clue ?

seorang sahabat mengatakan, ada 3 cara sepasang kekasih dipertemukan, oleh Tuhan, oleh setan, dan oleh jin.

aku ingin mencintaimu, aku tak ingin menyebutnya seperti apa ,karena aku ingin menciptakan dunia kita sendiri dan cara kita sendiri.

aku tau ini akan sulit, karena pengharapanku, kau menyebutnya, seperti tuntutan dan pemaksaan.

tidak...aku tidak ingin menjadi seperti itu, dan sama sekali ingin menepis noda-noda hitam yang akhirnya berujung pada tangan setan.

sekali lagi aku juga ingin orang-orang terbaikku tidak mengatakan bahwa ini semua hanyalah sifat labil yang masih melekat pada diriku. Ya...tentu saja aku akan berusaha keras untuk meyakinkan itu semua, sedikit, perlahan dan pasti mengikis curam yang mungkin melukai kehidupan indahku nanti

namun, aku tak bisa hanya bekerja sendiri

kau supirnya ,dan aku nahkodanya. . .

aku tak akan meminta

tapi berilah sedikit, hanya sedikit pengertian

karena aku wanita. . .

aku tahu kau mencintaiku
